Thankful for the Reset Button

Hi There Folks
Family, Friends, & Fond Associates
It has been quite some time since you've heard from your friendly universal writer. Although I've heard that time is an illusion the date of my last entry suggests otherwise. I must admit that I haven't been rather inspired. I've been more obsessed with all the rituals of making a living, while giving my pint sized monk a bit less than my best. I must mention the "anchor" that I've left to rust at the very bottom of the ocean. I'm pulling it back up. Now that the calender has been flipped over into new year,my only resolution is to snuggle up in the arms of gratitude. Appreciating each smile, giggle, tear drop or so called head ache. I strive to remain thankful, not just in the face of catastrophe but while the sun is beaming on me. Tragedy is designed to stir compassion, prayer and reflection. It calls many to action. What I want to know is where does it all go when we hit the lottery? Do we connect to the world community when success is hand delivered to our doorstep? Does our freedom to voice our opinions entitle us to judge & condemn? It was blurry at first then I wanted only to keep on my shades, but now I see the beauty in struggle. There is an entire mural to admire not just a splash of paint. Now when folks ask me how I've been I say, "Grateful". I'll hit the reset button and maybe have you revisit the pages of this writer's work.
