While technology expands the reach of interpersonal, communication and alters the social structure of civilization, the human experience evolves. The multi-dimensional, misadventures and marvels of networks, institutions and the culture are a vast terrain for discovery, growth, amusement and reflection.

Writing: Sustains, Heals & Ignites,
Marionette Conteh- Writer, Publishing Brand Creator & Service Advocate
The words we choose to speak, write, listen to and comprehend embody the art of communication. Language connects communities and conveys culture. It may come in the form of a novel, music, film, education, research, bedtime story or conversation. Each of these methods derives from the depth of language. My name is Marionette Conteh writer, creative director and proprietor of a boutique self-publishing agency called MACROCOSMIC SCRIPTS©.
I created this brand in 2004 as a response to the stream of rejection letters from various publications and media outlets. I remained committed to my passion; determined to project my literary voice. The Macrocosmic Scripts banner intends to provide emerging writers with the ability to retain the rights of their independent literary releases through a publishing co-operative.
Advocacy for education will continue to remain a priority in my life’s work. The Lightning Language Arts Literacy enrichment workshop is created to bridge the achievement gap for students struggling with reading and writing fundamentals as well as offering young writers a forum to reinforce their creativity. I believe in the power of artistry, devotion to service, the sustainability of knowledge and the healing property of writing.

Thankful for the Reset Button
Hi There Folks
Family, Friends, & Fond Associates
It has been quite some time since you've heard from your friendly universal writer. Although I've heard that time is an illusion the date of my last entry suggests otherwise. I must admit that I haven't been rather inspired. I've been more obsessed with all the rituals of making a living, while giving my pint sized monk a bit less than my best. I must mention the "anchor" that I've left to rust at the very bottom of the ocean. I'm pulling it back up. Now that the calender has been flipped over into new year,my only resolution is to snuggle up in the arms of gratitude. Appreciating each smile, giggle, tear drop or so called head ache. I strive to remain thankful, not just in the face of catastrophe but while the sun is beaming on me. Tragedy is designed to stir compassion, prayer and reflection. It calls many to action. What I want to know is where does it all go when we hit the lottery? Do we connect to the world community when success is hand delivered to our doorstep? Does our freedom to voice our opinions entitle us to judge & condemn? It was blurry at first then I wanted only to keep on my shades, but now I see the beauty in struggle. There is an entire mural to admire not just a splash of paint. Now when folks ask me how I've been I say, "Grateful". I'll hit the reset button and maybe have you revisit the pages of this writer's work.

An Introduction-
I can not visualize a life without writing.
Should poetry ever vanish from my day dreams then, I’ll be tormented by silence
Face Value- easy does is not really my lifestyle.
I sort through layers of mystery and random observations because nothing really is what it appears to be.
The struggle is proving that anonymous tough breaks and success stories are heavier than the box office hits brought to you by studio executives.
I nod my head at doubt and give progress a pound. Some say dap, others fist bump or a high five. )
This collection of journal entries is jagged yet fragile.
The poems may be coarse or comforting.
The essays could make you giggle or gag
Writing is how I cope with the tidal waves and gale force winds that toss me around.
I know that happily ever after is a sticky batch of lies, so I keep a special handbag for my smile.
I know that victory can’t be felt without some sort of fight, so I keep my temper in steady rotation.
I can follow instructions and I’m willing to learn from an “expert professional” but I refuse to be managed!
When those sunny skies are chased away by a cyclone, the point is to make use of the experience.
Wisdom is not an exclusive badge for the aged.
Rage does not belong to the ignorant and poor.
Wonder is not a calling card just for the innocent
Forgiveness does not rely on divine approval
Wonderlands and Magic boxes are as tangible as your mind makes them.
No matter what has been engraved as scientific fact, remember that in the end the author has active creative control.
